Introduction

Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my blog. I’m Julissa and this blog is going to be used for my Medical Sociology class. College can be hectic and chaotic, but we’re in this together. Stay tuned for more updates!

My name is Julissa Cobos and I am a Sociology major at CSUEB. My preferred pronouns are she/her/hers. I grew up and still live in Hayward. A few important things about me are that I am passionate about helping others, love to be outdoors, and meeting new people. What drew me to Medical Sociology was the fact that is was a class related to the health field. I have always been interested in health and I look forward to learning this semester. What I am most looking forward to this year is finally getting my drivers license- I know I'm late to the game.

  1. Hello
I wanted to say that I liked that you included a park that has a focus on accessibility. It looks like its going to be amazing. I also think that the idea to include those who may not normally be able to experience the park is actually quite genius. I agree with you that it is a good choice for the post. For a lot of us we do not think about the accessibility of others when we visit a location. Are you now more aware after doing this assignment?
