My name is Julissa Cobos and I am a Sociology major at CSUEB. My preferred pronouns are she/her/hers. I grew up and still live in Hayward. A few important things about me are that I am passionate about helping others, love to be outdoors, and meeting new people. What drew me to Medical Sociology was the fact that is was a class related to the health field. I have always been interested in health and I look forward to learning this semester. I wanted to say that I liked that you included a park that has a focus on accessibility. It looks like its going to be amazing. I also think that the idea to include those who may not normally be able to experience the park is actually quite genius. I agree with you that it is a good choice for the post. For a lot of us we do not think about the accessibility of others when we visit a location. Are you now more aware after doing this assignment?
